Strategic financial coaching are engagements where B&K takes on a coaching role, providing advice to ad-hoc situations, while simultaneously working through a back-office curriculum to implement best practices.
The goal of these engagements is to provide support, advice, and concrete help to an executive or executive teams regarding corporate finance strategy.
Engagements are typically structured as 1-5 billable hours of work per week. Projects can last anywhere from a couple months to a many years. Think of us as a long-term advisor, rather than front-line team member.
We set up a weekly call with our coaching clients. During the call we review what happened in the past week, provide advice on timely situations, and talk about the plan for the upcoming week ahead.
B&K has a series of modules to implement financial and back offices best practices. The modules are designed to be collaborative and interactive in nature.
After we get to know the team and the business model, we work with management to develop their long-term financial strategy.
We offer a monthly retainer for advisory services so you have visibility into your monthly expenses.
If you need additional assistance in any given month, we can bill hourly, for any work above and beyond the standard monthly retainer.
